"The incomparable singer Sam Cooke — known as the King of Soul — once replied when told he had a beautiful voice, “Well that’s very kind of you, but voices ought not to be measured by how pretty they are. Instead they matter only if they convince you that they are telling the truth.” I think about that every time I hear Crystal Chiang communicate. She’s a master communicator, weaving compelling storytelling with riveting, poignant truth like a skilled artist. But more than that, she undeniably convinces me she is telling the truth. Because she does. She will convince you as well."
