Christina Teevan
Christina Teevan is the Executive Director of Ashland Special Needs Ministry in Ashland, Ohio. Her responsibilities include respite care, training volunteers, working with churches to train and develop programs for families with special needs, as well as working with the community to partner with families of those with special needs. The main goal of this ministry is to assist families of those with special needs in their local churches, equip churches to welcome families with any presenting disability into all programs available in the church setting, and welcome the family as a whole to experience the love of Christ and the church family. Christina consults and advocates for those with special needs. She, her husband and daughters have been guardians for nineteen years for a dear man with Down Syndrome, and she serves as a professor preparing college students entering the field of special education.
