Reggie Joiner expressed his enthusiasm for Kristen Ivy’s new role, stating,

“Kristen has proven that she is not only capable as a visionary and strategist for Orange but has also earned the respect of core staff inside this organization and national leaders outside Orange. Her performance and leadership over these two decades have been outstanding.”

Kristen Ivy brings proven experience and expertise to her new position, having served Orange for over eighteen years and as President of Orange for the past three years. As CEO, Kristen adds vision-casting to the strategy, leadership, and decision-making she was already responsible for as President.

Before beginning her career at Orange in 2006, Kristen earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Baylor University in 2004 and a Master of Divinity from Mercer University in 2009. In 2023, she received the R. Allen Culpepper Lifetime Achievement Award from Mercer as an esteemed alumna.

She has authored more than two dozen of our best-selling books, including “It’s Just a Phase”, “It’s Personal: Five Questions You Should Answer to Give Every Kid Hope,” and the “Parenting Your…” Phase Guides, which have reset how churches maximize ministry to families in their congregations.
