Hello fall! I don’t know about you, but I am so thankful fall is finally here! As a former northerner, I am even more grateful than usual for the slightly cooler temperatures and the crisp autumn air! I just love the season of apples, pumpkin spice lattes, and colorful leaves on the ground!

This beautiful time of year also means that Christmas is just around the corner—that wonderful season when we look for the perfect presents for the ones we love! While we are thinking of all the presents and decorations to buy, let’s take a minute to think about those without safe water to drink. Yes, I’m talking about our awesome H2GO! initiative. Let’s use this amazing opportunity to teach our children about taking care of those less fortunate. As they drink water, take baths, and make long lists of the toys they want, let’s show our kids the joy they receive from giving to others in need.

Together with fellow Orange churches, our goal is to raise $100,000 to support people in the Philippines with safe water! Let’s make this possible by making it real for our preschoolers. Show them how important water is to us every day and how WE, even at their young age, can help others have safe water too!

Have fun these next few weeks kicking off this holiday season giving rather than receiving!
