There are a few things we know about our Orange Conference attendees, and one of those is that they love to connect with each other and our staff. So we want to help provide a few options for you to do just that. It’s an action-packed conference, but these are great opportunities to stop and have a conversation, debrief, or just chat over coffee. And if you’d rather utilize the breaks for hanging out with your own team, feel free! Whatever works for you, works for us.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Orange Specialist Meet and Greet
7:00–9:00 p.m.
Lake Plaza, In Front of Forum (formerly Convention Center)
Please RSVP on the same page that you select your breakouts.
Orange curriculum partners who arrive by Tuesday night are invited to attend our annual Orange Specialist Meet and Greet. This is a special time for you to meet with your OS, network with other church leaders, and enjoy some light refreshments.
THURSDAY LUNCH: City Connect Gathering
11:45 a.m.—1:15 p.m.
Gallery
We’re partnering with city churches from around the country to build a City Network! And we’ve designed a City Track with top leaders from all across the U.S. that we hope you’ll join us for. If you’re wondering what “City” is, let me tell YOU: Any Multi-Ethinic, Diverse, City or Urban church, church leader, organization, leader or potential leader! PLUS, we’re hosting City Connect, an OC16 Block Party! Bring your lunch back to the Gallery on Thursday for performances, a DJ and, most importantly, some unforgettable conversation. In fact, here’s your personal invitation from City Track Leader, Sam Collier.
FRIDAY LUNCH: Hang Out with the Orange Specialists
12:00–1:30 p.m.
Orange Specialist Lounge (Upstairs in the Arena. Follow the smell of coffee.)
Our Orange Specialists are making a lot of advanced appointments, but if you don’t have an appointment or just like to be spontaneous, you can show up to the OS Lounge with your lunch on Friday to hang out and have fun.
About the Orange Specialists
An OS is like having someone from our staff join your staff. They provide answers about Orange curriculum, strategize with you, trouble-shoot your pain points, cheer you on, pray for you, and generally make the Orange experience even better. You’ll want to know your OS. They are a big part of our secret sauce.
Unsure who your OS is? Check this out, and then be sure to reach out!
And here are three more reasons to connect with your OS.
PS—If you’d like to start your networking RIGHT NOW, you can join our OC16 Attendee Facebook Group. (Please note: You must have an OC16 ticket already assigned to you in order to participate. And if you’re Facebook name doesn’t match your OC16 ticket, please let us know so we can verify.)
The Orange Conference 2016 will take place in Atlanta from April 27–29. Time and tickets are running out! For more information and to register, please visit TheOrangeConference.com.
