- FINALIZE the date, time, and location for your VBS if you haven’t done so already. Since many families like to attend more than one VBS each summer, consider checking dates of other Vacation Bible Schools in your area and keep those dates in mind when scheduling yours.Determine needed space and verify availability with your church’s calendar and get it on the books!
- DEFINE the event budget. If you have records from previous years, they can be used as a starting point.
- REST AND RECHARGE your VBS batteries the rest of this month. The race to summer begins next month. There’s a good chance you’ll be working on multiple big things at once. (Preparing for Easter and VBS at the same time?) Focus on preparing yourself for the coming celebration of Christ’s birth and personal renewal this month.
