School has started, the leaves will be changing colors soon, and football is in full effect all over the country. That only means two things: Fall is here and the Orange Tour is starting!

What?!? The Orange Tour?!? Oh yes, the Orange Tour. Every fall, the great people from The reThink Group take Orange on the road as they cram most everything you would get at The Orange Conference into an amazing one-day event!

As one of the hosts of the Orange Tour this year, our church is especially excited to have the Tour stop by. Why are we looking forward to this year at the Orange Tour? Here are a few reasons.

Connecting with other Churches.

In an ideal world, we would love to think that we go out and connect with other churches in our surrounding area to network and brainstorm ways we can partner together. Unfortunately, with the busy-ness of life it isn’t as common of an occurrence as we would hope. But the Orange Tour gives us a great opportunity for us to meet, network and talk about life and ministry with hundreds of people.

Hearing from awesome presenters.

Orange always does a great job of finding amazing speakers to share. But these aren’t some Tom, Dick or Harry guys who had an idea years ago that worked and are still sharing about it. No, these are real ministers and thought leaders who are working on these ideas they are presenting and talking about. These are extremely intelligent people who help process ideas with us. And, honestly, they are more accessible at the Orange Tour than ever before as they are leading breakout sessions and having time to answer your questions.

Learning how to love our children, students and families better.

The “It’s Just a Phase” themed Orange Tour centers around the book, It’s Just A Phase that Reggie Joiner and Kristen Ivy wrote. This is a fantastic book that compiles data to outline the four specific phases a child goes through from birth through high school. It outlines what they are thinking, experiencing and believing about God. It is the perfect book for a family ministry department to read through together.

So, those are just a few of the reasons why we are excited about the Orange Tour coming to our church this fall. If you haven’t signed up yet for the Tour stop in your area, you have to do so ASAP as space is very, very limited. Go to OrangeTour.org to sign up NOW.
