This Friday when thinking of my favorite things, I’m going all the way back in my memory to my college days studying education. There was a really useful software tool that we used when planning lessons or class projects. Remember those webs you made on manilla paper or the whiteboard when you were in elementary school? Oh, how I loved those computer-generated organic maps and how they grew as ideas took shape! Then with a touch of a button, I could covert this map of bubbles, lines and words to a linear outline. The best of both worlds– and that was more than a decade ago! So surely there’s an even better, even more interactive product out now.
Imagine my excitement when I discovered through a business book an incredible tool called MindJet that has many different possibilities and applications. I’m still exploring it, but if you’re a visual learner and like to see things clearly so you can move them around- whether you’re planning your next meeting or a specific project- you can check this product out for free the next 30 days! I did. There’s a version for PC and Mac.
So what other tools or resources do you find helpful when planning consistently productive meetings? Or maybe you want to ask some of the other readers if they know of a certain tool that will do something specific? Share here with any helpful links, tips or things you’re searching for. Have a great weekend!
