<? echo $type; ?> How many special needs kids in your ministry?

Today’s guest post is written by Tammy Burns, Pastor of Family Ministries at The Ridge church in Virginia.

I get asked all the time, “How many kids with special needs do you have in your family ministry?” I always have the same answer, “All of them!!”

You see I believe all kids have special needs, and some of them actually have a diagnosis to help us understand their needs!!

But, what do you do, when kids with autism, kids with multiple disabilities, kids who can’t hear or see, come to be a part of your family ministry?
And, how can you make sure that they are part of hearing the truth that is taught that day??

As a parent of a young man who has autism, and who was asked to not attend children’s ministry at the church we were attending at one point, I look forward to sharing our story and our perspective with you.

On Friday, in Breakout C “Orange is a Special Color, too” these questions will be answered – and many more. Hope to see you there!

At Orange Leaders, we influence those who influence the next generation. We do that by creating resources and products that help leaders like you do ministry better.
